The Life, The Love, The Lessons
My Second Born: Lysa
My second child from a distance and who is considered mini me is
the bravest of all my children and is willing to take the risk at
all times, even she is aware that no ground will catch the fall. She was a spoiled brat
to her father and makes sure she gets what she wants. Until now,
that is her motto..."What Lysa wants...Lysa Gets". Which sometimes scares me
because at my age and with what I know about life -- you do not always get everything
that you want. I only hope that when that happens she has the same
strength to accept it. With Lysa, I have learned to let go. I knew from
her young age that she was the child that would not stay with me for long.
I knew that the minute she learns to be on her own, she would be.
Of course, I was right. As I said all my children broke my heart. Lysa broke
mine when I felt that not having me around was enough. I pray that one
day she will realize that you may be able to get whatever you want
in life but when you forget your mom it will be taken away from you.
I just hope it is not too late by then.
Lysa had a daughter too at her early stage of life just like I did --
I told you "Mini - Me". I am so proud that she was able to finish her course
as a nurse which is now helping her bring up her child alone.
She has been a good mother and provider for her only child.
She is far away from me because she needs to fulfill her dreams.
A little rebel sometimes but she always end up with great love and
fear of God. Sometimes she is the kind of girl "now you see her now you don't".
She loves to dream...she loves LIFE to the fullest, she falls in love with
love and so far her relationships have failed (knock, knock -- remember the paragraph above).
I am wishing that she could visit again soon not for a short time but longer.
I am dying to meet my little angel "Cara".
Distance can never separate a Mother's love and that she knows so well...
